The Story...

Heist Spirits is a grain-to-glass distillery based in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, founded by husband-and-wife team Alex and Lana Ramsey. Operating out of a restored 1920s bank building, Heist Spirits blends a Prohibition-era aesthetic with a modern, hands-on approach to distilling.

Since purchasing the building in 2021, the Ramseys have led the renovation and buildout themselves, transforming the historic space into a working distillery and tasting room. Today, Heist Spirits produces a range of products under its Golden Handcuffs label, including bourbon, rye, flavored whiskey, and multiple styles of gin.

With a focus on quality, local sourcing, and full control of the process, Heist Spirits handles everything from mash to bottle on site. The distillery has quickly become a destination in the region, offering tours, events, and a distinctive atmosphere rooted in craftsmanship and community.
