ALLOW US TO INTRODUCE OURSELVES...

You may have seen us on Instagram, Facebook, or running up and down the stairs of the bank at 1606 N. Main Street, but we think it’s time we formally introduce ourselves. Hi everyone, we’re Alex and Lana Ramsey. We’re a husband-and-wife team who decided to turn our little dream of owning and operating a distillery into reality amid the pandemic. 

We purchased the old Citizens/ Mellon Bank building in February 2021, and have been working nights, weekends, and holidays to renovate the space and bring it back to its aesthetic glory days of the 1920s. We’ve done all of the renovations ourselves, with the help of our incredible family members, Greg Ramsey and Mike Hancher. We could never have done this without them!

 In addition to renovating and running the distillery, we also have two young children and a Jack Russel, who you may have seen running and lounging around the distillery, respectively. We are incredibly excited to be a part of the Burgettstown community, and we can’t wait to give you a place to come, hang out, chat, share a cocktail, and get to know us, and our brand (Golden Handcuffs), and Heist Spirits a little bit better.
